Terms of Use
Hello Phase is a wellness app, not a medical device. Cycle predictions, phase guidance and coach replies are general information built from the dates and symptoms you enter. They are not a diagnosis, not contraception, and not a substitute for a doctor. If something feels wrong, see a clinician.
1. Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under the App Store or Google Play terms that also apply. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or extract the app's content or code except where the law allows it.
3. Premium subscription
- Hello Phase is offered as an annual subscription. The price for your region is shown in the app before you confirm.
- Two ways to start are offered where available, a free trial of seven days, or a discounted first month followed by the annual plan. The exact offer and price are shown on the payment sheet.
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
- Prices may change for future periods. We will show the new price in the store before it applies to you.
4. AI coach
Coach cards and chat replies are generated by an AI model from the information you provide. They can be wrong. Use them as a starting point for your own judgement, not as instructions. Do not enter information you are not comfortable sending to an AI service, see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent.
5. Fair use
Coach and chat have daily and weekly limits per device so the service stays affordable for everyone. Automated use, scraping, or attempts to bypass limits or the paywall may end your access.
6. Your data
Your entries stay on your phone and remain yours. We do not claim ownership of anything you log. Keep your own backup with the export feature if you change phones, we cannot recover data from a lost device.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its name, icon, design, text and code belong to us and our licensors. Feedback you send may be used to improve the app without obligation to you.
8. No warranty
The app is provided as is. We do not promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accurate for your body. Cycle prediction is an estimate that improves with more data and can still be wrong.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access for misuse. Sections 7 to 11 survive termination.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Before any formal claim, please email us and give us 30 days to sort it out.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be shown in the app. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
